Why clients come to us

Accel Pardon has handled criminal record relief and U.S. border admissibility matters since 2007. The firm is run by a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario who personally reviews every file.

Every consultation, document and update is available in the language you are most comfortable in. We begin with a free screening — if your record, timing or circumstances mean an application will not succeed, we say so plainly and explain the reasons rather than taking a fee.

English · 中文

Criminal record and border files are full of terms that are difficult even in a first language. Every consultation, form explanation and status update is offered in English or Chinese, and translated supporting documents are prepared where an application requires them.

  • Consultations by phone or in person in English or Mandarin
  • Government forms explained clause by clause in your language
  • Written summaries of your options in both languages on request

How the process works

  1. 01

    Free eligibility screening

We review your record, dates and circumstances. If you do not qualify, we tell you honestly and explain exactly why.

  2. 02

    Document collection

Fingerprints, RCMP certificate, court records, police checks and any supporting statements — we tell you what to obtain and when.

  3. 03

    Preparation & filing

Your file is assembled to government standards and submitted to the Parole Board of Canada or U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

  4. 04

    Follow-through to decision

We track the file, respond to requests for further information and keep you informed until a decision is issued.

Find out where you stand — at no cost

Tell us about your record and your travel plans, in English or Chinese. We will confirm whether a record suspension, a record purge, a U.S. waiver, or a combination applies to your situation.
