A focused practice, not a paperwork mill
Accel Pardon is an independent paralegal firm in Ontario. Since 2007 the practice has concentrated on two difficult areas: clearing Canadian criminal records and restoring the ability to enter the United States.
The paralegal
The firm is run by a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario — 安省律师公会持牌专业法律从业人员 — who reviews and prepares each file personally. You deal with the same person from the first consultation through to the decision.
Consultations and file work are offered in both English and Chinese, so nothing about your record, your obligations or your options gets lost in translation.
How we work
- Screening before fees
- Every prospective client is screened first. If you are not eligible, we say so and explain why.
- Plain answers, in your language
- No promises about outcomes that belong to the Parole Board of Canada or U.S. Customs and Border Protection. We explain what is realistic and what it depends on, in English or Chinese.
- Confidentiality
- Records, fingerprints and personal history are handled discreetly and released only where the application requires it.
Accel Pardon is a private paralegal firm. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with the Parole Board of Canada, the RCMP or U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Applications can be made without a representative; we are retained by clients who want the file prepared correctly the first time.
